EKWB History
Research & Development
The water block development process is supported by hi-tech CAD-CAM technology. Scratch sketches of the water block are transferred directly into 3D models. Before the prototypes are made, the 3D models are tested with the ultimate flow and heat simulation software, Solidworks Flow Simulation. When the prototype shows enough reasons to be produced, a few slightly different samples of prototypes are made and tested on real time CPU simulator, where all its characteristics are recorded into our database on a computer. Usually the prototype is modified slightly and then again tested on our simulator and finally with real computer hardware until the waterblock is ready for mass production. EKWB production facility consists of 10 CNC machining centers.
